MY MEMORIES IN GRAZ, AUSTRIA

Hello everyone, my name is Nguyen Hoang Thao Nhi, 21 years old, currently a third-year student at Hue College of Economics, Hue University. My major is Business Administration, and I’m in the K51 Tallaght class. In the first semester in the 3rd – year at university, I had the opportunity to exchange one semester in Graz, Austria. It was a great experience and I have learned so many new things. Specialized knowledge, social knowledge, memories, precious friends … are things that I add to the luggage on my life.

These photos are moments I will never forget when I had this wonderful half-year experience.

I understand that I’m not only is an exchange student but also a country’s cultural messenger. Bring national pride, I really want to promote more ethnic cultural identity in the foreign land.

On the Mid-Autumn Festival, I shared with you all the mooncakes that I brought from Vietnam and introduced the beauty of this festival.

In an evening international culture, I wore the Aodai and gave a presentation about Vietnamese landscapes and people, and invited foreign friends to visit our beautiful country.

Besides that, I cooked traditional dishes, invited foreign friends to enjoy, and taught them how to make them.

Learning a new language not only helped me communicate, speak more with many new people, but also having new friends, learn more, and understand more about the culture and history of that country.

Moreover, I realized that the more people know, understand, experience more, people will gradually improve, both in terms of quality, intelligence, and spirit. The more I communicate, with more friends from all over the world, the more my worldview will improve, the greater my awareness of that word will.

I sometimes find it a little difficult to pronounce German, but the teacher and friends have helped me a lot. It was a great experience!!!

Furthermore, I am very grateful to the school and the School of Business Administration for allowing me to participate in this student exchange program. I have experienced a new culture, making friends with people from many different countries and cultures. It was such a great experience for me. I have learned many things after this trip.
