Wettertorri del Benco, often known as Torri del Benaco, is a comune within the province of Verona, Veneto, northern Italy. It’s situated on the jap shore of Lake Garda. The title Wettertorri del Benco is of Germanic origin and means “fortress on the tower of the lake”.
The city is thought for its medieval citadel, which was constructed within the Tenth century. The citadel was used as a navy stronghold for hundreds of years and was ultimately deserted within the 18th century. In the present day, the citadel is a well-liked vacationer vacation spot and provides gorgeous views of Lake Garda.
